ugh this school

Well folks,  I'm at my school. I've tried to install LibreOffice to my flashdrive, and ran it, the thing said I nee a JRE to run it. So, I downloaded and somehow managed to successfully install the JRE. OK, I got that done, now, I can't install the stupid freaking access bridge! Ugh1 I'll try the  2.0 version, but I hope it doesn't require admin rights, stupid freaking school! Ugh! I wish I had my own laptop! Ugh! I don't want to be stuck to Microcrap word anymore! Nor Microcrap excell either!

well, crap!

OK folks, I really did it this time. Some of the toes on my left foot are now quite skinned up, and the toe nail of one will surely fall off and hopefully be replaced. LOL. I slipped while in the bathroom, and fell, all because of a stupid piece of toilet paper that decided that it would stick to my foot. I tried to get it of, but I couldn't bring myself to touch it, so I tried to get my foot into the sink to wash it off, and I slipped and fell. (note to self, "Never, ever in your life, will you try that again. You might really crack open your skull on the hardwood floor and bleed to your death next time)" LOL

another update

Well everyone, just decided to update this blog. Today, sunday, I have to go back to the Alabama School for the blind, for another week of education without wifi or anything like that. Hmm, I wonder if VPN would work as a wireless network, because I really want to update this blog more, and have wifi at school. I know they could do it, have a wifi connection in the rec center, but of course, they don't want to be responsible for anything,because they know that blind people would pirate things, and they don't want to be held responsible for it. And they know that the partially sighted kids can download porn, and oh they wouldn't want that. Gosh! It happens all the freaking time, on public wifi networks. And if they already download porn or pirate overpriced software, like Jaws for Windows, then my gosh, what's the difference of doing it at school? If it's porn, they've already seen it, most likely. And if it's piracy, well they wouldn't have to do it, since we have Jaws on our computers. Oh wait, Jaws version 9.0 that is. So they'd want to update jaws. Well, that's not their fault, its the fault of that person or group of people that are supposed to keep everything up to date. Hmm, speaking of keeping things up-to-date, we don't even have the latest version of Internet Explorer. Hmm, wonder why? Its free. a free update. Why not take it? Laziness? Hmm, maybe. Or lack of knowledge of how to do it. Yep, I think so. And if that is so, then they should learn. Its really not that hard. Just go to windows update or whatever it is in Windows XP. I now have Mozilla firefox on a flashdrive, which I will use at that school since they don't want to keep their crap up to date. I have a late snapshot of NVDA, so I won't have to deal with Jaws for Windows. I have WinFrotz TTS for playing my beloved text-based games. And I'll put that game-book creater on there as well. So, I have almost everything I need. I've downloaded those Frankenstein books from NLS, and a few others like 1984. I've downloaded a few good long fanfictions to keep me occupied when school gets really boring or when I'm at the dorm and don't have anything to do. Hopefully I'll get the refreshabraille this week. I hope so, cause then I'll be able to read those fanfictions with good, lovely, un-braille-note-ish, refreshable braille. I love this apple keyboard though. I'll of course keep it around, and use it very often. Gosh, its almost like using a mac. I love it. And its so much smaller than Windows keyboards. I will have to get used to editing with it though. But other than that, everything is good.
